The Indigenous Business Development Centre (IBDC) has congratulated President Mugabe and Zanu-PF for their resounding victory in the July 31 harmonised elections.
In a statement, IBDC president Mr Ben Mucheche noted that the inclusive Government
retarded the country’s economic development. He expressed confidence that the country’s industries will re resuscitated with Zanu-PF in charge.
“More congratulations to Gushungo for convincingly winning the presidential elections, putting paid to the notion that Zanu-PF was a spent force, and the people of Zimbabwe on peaceful holding of the free and fair 2013 harmonised elections,” he said.
He urged the international community to accept that Zimbabweans had peacefully voted and take advantage of the vast investment opportunities in the country. He also warned local industrialists against being used to sabotage the new Government by regime change agents.
“We urge the local industrialists to walk the talk and refrain from sabotaging Government by working with former colonisers who were also the owners of the industry and would not want its revival for regime change purposes.
“IBDC now calls again for the unconditional lifting of the illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by Britain and its western allies,” he said.
“To those who could not make it, this is not the end of the world, your time will come. Let us join forces with the winners and build our God given country for the benefit of us all.
