THE National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ)’s security officers, in collaboration with Jumbo Mine Security, have filled up 15 illegal mine shafts and tunnels dug within the railway reserve land in Mazowe.
In a statement on Tuesday, NRZ said most of the shafts were passing under railway lines.
“The majority of the shafts were passing underneath the railway line and this recuperation process will continue throughout the affected railway system,” reads part of the statement.
