FORMER Highlanders central linkman Adrian Silla has completed a permanent move to CAPS United.

He becomes Makepekepe’s third biggest signing of the pre-season.

The 26-year-old Silla, who is also a dead-ball specialist, joins Kelvin Madzongwe and Godknows Murwira, who are already at CAPS United.

Madzongwe joined United from Bulawayo Chiefs early this week, while Murwira crossed the floor from Dynamos last month.

Highlanders confirmed Silla’s departure on Thursday afternoon.

“The club would like to announce that Adrian Silla has completed a permanent move to CAPS United FC.

“We wish him all the best in his new career path,” wrote Highlanders.

Silla is a product of the famed Aces Youth Soccer Academy.

His best moment in the 2021/2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season came at Barbourfields Stadium on May 8, 2022, when his two late free-kicks – taken from just outside the box – secured a 2-2 draw for Highlanders, who had looked to be destined for a loss against Bulawayo Chiefs.

Silla becomes CAPS United’s fifth signing after Murwira, Madzongwe, Innocent Zambezi and Admiral Matope.

Centre-back Zambezi joined the Green Machine from Harare City, while Admiral Matope was with relegated WhaWha last season.

Meanwhile, Dynamos have added defender, Donald Dzvinyai, to their growing list of new signings.

The 31-year-old Dzvinyai joins DeMbare from Harare City.

He comes with a lot of experience after having also played for Triangle United and serial champions FC Platinum.
