ALOIS JUNIOR BUNJIRA has big shoes to fill.

As the son of CAPS United legend Alois Bunjira, the 20-year-old winger will likely attract a lot of attention.

Fortunately, the youngster, who is among the new signings unveiled by CAPS in the capital on Thursday, is brimming with confidence.

“I have to work non-stop to fill those shoes.

“There are big shoes to fill — that much I know  —  and have been told countless times since I was young.

“However, I am confident that I can do it,” he said.

Bunjira turned out for Northern Region Division One side Golden Eagles last season.

During preseason, he was linked with a move to either CAPS United or their rivals Dynamos.

It took the intervention of CAPS president Farai Jere to convince him to join the Green Machine.

“I was linked with Dynamos for a few weeks and the president came straight to my father and held talks with him.

“I do not think I had much of a say in joining CAPS United; that decision was made for me,” added the young Bunjira.

“I am really excited and a bit nervous; however, I am looking forward to the coming season in the Premier League …

“If given a chance to play, I intend to grab it with both hands and prove my worth.”
