BE UNIQUE OR BE FORGOTTEN

FOR one or more reasons, I know that you fall in the category that I am going to talk about. I too have been involved, heavily encroached in the tradition of sitting back, whilst relaxing in our ever ‘sweet’ comfort zones of not getting involved in the processes that affect the way we behave and relate with nature.
Nearly everyone is greatly comfortable as a general consumer of the traditional preset regulations, gadgets, and appliances among other provisions. This explains why they are much more fans than sport players and direct stakeholders. In this respect, like many others, the general world just sits back and wait for someone, who they deem as much more superior than them to take an initiative for them to follow.
Human beings must never be content with what they have on offer whether they are learned or not. The likes of Henry Ford, Bill Gates, you name the others, did not possess the most cherishable of the so called “enlightenment’, but they did possess a certain kind of consistent desire which many of us do not have.
This special kind of desire comes from the way the human being is designed. This is a way that makes us much more demanding and become less easily pleased. Someone saw that the post was not efficient enough hence the telephone had to be introduced, then someone saw that the telephone was not enough, hence a mobile device had to be created, then came the bluetooth, the WiFi etcetera.
Check on every other development that came about, it just came from a son or daughter of parents just like you. One person who could not feel satisfied with what was on offer on that very day. After all, why are we content with what we have?
Do not, like most of your fellows just think that, the Android phones, WiFi networks, Planes that you see and all other gadgets that you consume are the best. There is still room for new additions, for innovation lasts until infinity. Remember that some people had their lives spoiled by playing with sugar daddies in exchange for the Nokia 3310’s and the 1100’s, but where are they now. Such shall happen to the iPhones of today. Ask yourself why you don’t take full responsibility of our future?
By now, I am now sounding much more like I am biased towards just technology but in theory, this wholly applies on all the aspects of life. Even pots, clothes, food and drink stakeholders are getting much more innovative, leading the way, the same way you should start to act like from today onwards. Take for instance, some find themselves reading a newspaper article pertaining an issue in the public domain and then just believing it for the simple fact that it has been published. There are far less content creators, than there are content consumers. How many people does it take to produce a reality show? Keeping up with the Kardashians, and other reality shows, you name it. But how many watch? It is all because of the addiction in consumption rather than in creating. Even the Bible says that, there’s much more happiness in giving than in receiving.
Hence, just brace up and be a proud creator of anything new of your field of entrance. It is only you who holds the keys of your own future. I am always haunted by these words, ‘be unique or be forgotten’. Do not leave the earth in the same way you left it.
