Spiritual spectacles beckon

The Sunday Mail

Prophet Tapiwa Freddy, the founder of Goodness and Mercy Ministries, is endowed with a very special gift, that of Spiritual Spectacles, which enables believers to literally prophesy their own lives through seeing visions. Prophet Freddy’s church, which recently conducted the “Know It Before It Happens Prophetic Conference 2”, which drew thousands of people from all walks of life, is also poised for another huge conference dubbed “Spiritual Spectacles Night 2” on September 2 in Glen View.

The conference will start at 8pm and end the following morning. This follows a similar event held last year.

During this year’s conference, the controversial prophet will unleash what he calls “Double Spiritual Spectacles” which will make couples or the entire family see the same things.

The prophet said, “In the same manner that prophet Elisha did in second Kings chapter 6 verse 17 when he prayed for his servant to see the spiritual world, God will repeat the same miracle as He does not change.”

Goodness and Mercy Ministries is a Christian church founded on 15 May, 2005.

The ministry’s teachings are firmly grounded on the Bible, believing that salvation comes from the Lord Jesus Christ alone.

Prophet Freddy, who was born 33 years ago at Harare Central Hospital and grew up in Musana communal area in Bindura district, received his prophetic calling in 1993 at a tender age of 10 when he was in Grade Four.

Since then, he has continued to guide believers in Christ, performing miracles and wonders.

Even when he was still at school, he would come back to find people at his home seeking divine solutions.

Before founding his ministry, prophet Freddy was a member of one of the mainstream churches and went to Soul Travailing Bible Institute in Harare.

He is married to Milanda and the couple is blessed with three children.

Renowned for his unique way of spiritual healing and deliverance though Spiritual Spectacles, the charismatic preacher commands a huge following throughout the country, especially in Harare.

Based in Glenview 8, Harare near Makomva shops, along Patrenda Way, Goodness and Mercy Ministries has over the years grown in leaps and bounds and people continue to flock the church with testimonies.

His powerful prophetic revelations and deliverance sessions has resulted in many people flocking to his church. He believes that God reveals hidden things to people through miracles to draw them to Him.

His popular saying, “Hazvibvumidzwe kuti paitike chinhu chisina kumbobvira chakaporofitwa” bears testimony to his ministerial work.

Freddy said, “The Spiritual Spectacles Night 2 is an all-night event to be held on September 2 at Goodness and Mercy Ministries church.

It is meant to transform people’s lives through Spiritual Spectacles anointing.”

Prophet Freddy is also a gifted musician, philanthropist and accomplished writer.

He has three albums under his belt namely “Mesiya” (2003), “Serevende” (2006) and “100% Prophetic“(2016), which is currently making waves on local radio stations.

He uses music to propagate Christian teachings and promote family values.

Some of his written articles dwell on vision, praise and worship, sowing and reaping, Christian believers’ authority, Old Testament laws and the person of the Holy Spirit.

He also conducts new believers’ lessons at his church where hundreds of people are taught Christian principles and way of life prior to becoming full members of Goodness and Mercy Ministries.

Popularly known as the Spiritual Spectacles Specialist, the prophet and his wife runs a charity arm called Goodness and Mercy Ministries Hand of Care that helps underprivileged children and vulnerable members of the society, especially the elderly and the physically handicapped.

They also pay school fees for some pupils at a local school. The couple recently donated goods to some members of the community.
