APOSTOLIC Faith Mission pastor Kudakwashe Chiwashira last Wednesday launched two books in Harare, one of which is a compilation of quotes by religious leaders from across the globe. The books are titled “The Essence of Obedience – The Blessing Factor”, and “I Can: I Will and I Will”, which is a compilation of the sayings of various religious leaders.
The launch was presided over by Reverend Berry Dambaza, senior pastor of PAOZ Upper Room Ministries Church. “The Essence of Obedience” focuses on pride, fear and uncertainty as the basic foundations of disobedience. Pr Chiwashira said he was confident the books would captivate readers as had his first one titled, “Where is my money? It’s all in you.”
He said the motivation to write “The Essence of Obedience” came after he lectured at a conference in South Africa. “I was teaching in South Africa for eight weeks on obedience and realised I could compile all of those teachings into a book,” he said.
Rev Dambaza, in the book’s foreword, highlighted that: “Kudakwashe Chiwashira tackles life’s most important issues, mainly leadership and obedience. He communicates his message with so much simplicity, in a clear to understand manner yet doing justice to the subject.” A motivational speaker and life coach, Pr Chiwashira authored the financial empowerment book titled “Where is my money?
It’s all in you”, which was published in 2013.
