| Newcastle Junior School is a professionally run Private institution with a clear governance structure. At the top is a six member board of governors while the day to day running of the school is bestowed in the hands of the school head Mrs. Grace Chakuchichi, who has got 35 years’ experience of both Government and Private school Administration. |
She is ably supported by a team of carefully selected teachers based on their strengths in sports, academic results and information technology.
Newcastle Junior School first opened its doors to the public in January 2016. The school head was there to welcome the pioneer pupils and also the new teachers to the school. It is with great pride and honor that Newcastle Junior School extends its hearty welcome to all our prospective partners, parents and pupils to the institution.
LOCATION
The school is located in the heart of Reinham Suburb (turn right at White house, Snake Park and follow the sign post until you get to school).
The school has spacious classrooms which accommodate a ratio of 1:25 teacher pupil’s ratio. Each teacher has carefully customized the classroom to suit the particular grade, thereby providing and aiding and conducive environment for learning.
Newcastle Junior School intends to better the community as it reaches out with an educational excellence hands. The institution is enrolling students from E.C.D to Grade 7.E.C.D students are provided with nutritious hot meals. It’s an English medium school .School fees is quite affordable.

Because of the availability of school transport the school transport the school is inviting applicants in Harare and surrounding areas.

ICT: We offer first class technology in this subject area. In today’s society computing and I.T are fundamental in ensuring inclusive, personalized, enhanced and extended learning experiences. At Newcastle Junior School computing has an essential role in helping us to achieve these wider aims. We use a wide variety of software, Tutorial software, Educational games .Maths, Problem solving software and utility software. Our computer lessons are enhanced by the use of interactive screens which are installed in the lab.
ACADEMICS:-The school makes exhaustive coverage of the academic curriculum through minute breakdown of syllabus into manageable units.
