KINGDOM Prosperity Ministries (KPM) leader Apostle Rodney Chipoyera has prophesied that Zimbabwe will experience seven years of plenty starting from the beginning of 2018 going forward.

Speaking during a morning prayer service on Friday, Apostle Chipoyera said the challenges facing the country will soon be a thing of the past. He explained that the prophesy was based on Genesis 41: 47 which says, “And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls. The seven years of plenty will start in 2018, this is the word from God. Because this is the Lord’s word, I know He will make it happen. He can send helpers from all over the world to turn things around,” said Apostle Chipoyera.

He further quoted Isaiah 60: 20-21, which says, “Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.  “Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. “They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendour.”

The KPM leader explained that from the aforesaid scripture, it was clear that when God is involved, things will surely become better. After God’s intervention, some people will be shocked at how things would have turned around for the better in line with Psalm 126: 1 which says, “A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.” Apostle Chipoyera also launched strong criticism against ‘prophets’ who make thousands of dollars from selling “anointed” bangles, t-shirts and books.

He said the ripping off of unsuspecting congregants was tantamount to witchcraft on the pulpit because some of the “prophets were using powers from the water”. “At KPM, we don’t give bangles and t-shirts, we dish out the word of God. Some so called prophets are stealing congregants’ glory and blessing through laying of hands.

“Once they lay hands, they take people’s glory and use it to make money,” said the KMP leader. Some Christian believers surrendered a number of t-shirts, books, bangles and anointed oils obtained from some popular prophets.

“Despite buying the anointed oils, bangles and all the sacrifices, nothing changed in our lives. Instead, we became poor and poor. So we wonder what powers are being used by some of these men of God,” said a congregant who asked not to be named.
