A power outage at the official opening night of Today’s Woman International conference could not deter thousands of women who had gathered for worship.
Filled to capacity, the City Sports Centre reverberated
with songs of praise and worship as women united for a cause pioneered by Zaoga Forward in Faith Archbishop, Dr Eunor Guti.
With the first day having started on a high note, those in attendance raised up prayers of intercession for a successful night before the main speaker Apostle Tsitsi Mufambi took to the podium.
As power was restored much later, Apostle Mufambi preached a message of salvation which was derived from the scriptures of Romans 5 v 6-9 and 2 Corinthians 5 v 21.
Archbishop Guti concluded the night by declaring that the conference had been officially opened.
The conference which began on October 22 ends today.
