Life Issues with FGK
Getting the support that one might need can prove to be elusive.
When someone has a dream that he/she wants to pursue, that person can tell friends or relatives.
However, some of these friends or relatives can easily conclude that the person cannot possibly achieve the said dream.
They might come to this conclusion by judging the person’s situation and background.
Some will simply assume that you will not make it in life.
Within you there is a powerful thing called passion that was placed by God.
With passion and belief that you can make it in life, it is possible to achieve the impossible, even without the support of people that you know.
Believing in yourself will drive you to reach your goal.
Along the way, you are bound to find complete strangers who see your vision in the same light and believe in your potential.
These people can actually help you feel extra confident about achieving the dream and can motivate you during tiring times in your journey.
Close friends or relatives can actually be competing with you even without letting you know.
This is the reason why such people cannot render support during your time of need.
They think if they support your dream, they will help you be more successful than them.
Although this is a wrong mentality, it is a sad reality.
In most cases, strangers, and not close friends or relatives, can actively support your vision.
This element of close friends and relatives competing with you is common.
It is common for friends and relatives to see you as a threat.
Instead of being motivated, they will hate you and speak ill about you.
It is high time friends and relatives change to help uplift others.
Even if one does not believe in someone’s dream, a simple acknowledgement will drive that person’s passion.
Be that person who will not discourage others but inspire, encourage and motivate others to work hard and chase their dreams.
It is more uplifting to hear that someone close to you, and not a stranger, believes in you.
Be that person who lifts souls, who lights up the world by supporting others, especially those close or related to you.
At the end of the journey, when those you would have uplifted reach their goals, it is heart-warming to dine with them, knowing full well that you contributed to their success.
Take a minute to think deeply about what you are doing or not doing to help others.
Ask yourself why you are so good at supporting people you do not know, leaving those that you know and are in need of your support.
We need to learn to be there for each other, to stand by and for each other, to support each other and to lift each other up the ladder.
Choose to be different and go on and make a difference.
Reality is if you do not choose to be that supportive friend or relative, a stranger will replace you at the table when it is time to enjoy the fruits of the dream.
The ball is now in your court to change and start helping close friends or relatives.
We accomplish more after getting that helping hand from others.
Remember, we rise up by lifting others.
