First were the face towels; then the wristbands, stickers and annointing oil came to deliver miracles. Now a new phenomenon has hit town — miracle rings are trending.

Prophet Miracle Paul of the New Revelation Ministries branch in Warren Park, has introduced miracle rings to his congregation as a medium of deliverance and access to riches. Born Tendai Chipara and formerly a front man of the Sungura band Ramangwana Musica, the prophet introduced the rings two weeks ago.

Going for $5 at the church, the rings are your ordinary jewelry store assortment and they come in different shapes and sizes ranging from silver, bronze or gold. The ring can be worn on any finger.

“Once you have the miracle ring, count yourself among millionaires. Every project or business you start will be successful,” Prophet Miracle Paul said defiantly.

“The miracle rings are holy and anointed. They carry the same blessings that were upon King Solomon and deliver people from every evil spirit that destroy riches,” he said.

When The Sunday Mail Religion crew visited New Revelation Ministries Church last week, the miracle rings were selling like hot cakes.

The prophet prayed for the rings and dipped them into anointed oil, preparing them for sale. Those who had purchased their rings prior to the launch were more than willing to give their testimonies during the service.

“When I bought mine, my first miracle happened that very same day. I received a phone call from a colleague of mine who owed me $300 which was long overdue and he said he wanted to give me my money,” said Fletcher Huni (43).

Apparently, the debtor had been playing cat and mouse for over eight months, trying to renege from paying him back.

“It is amazing how God works. That man actually gave me all of my money in cash, I strongly feel it was because of the miracle ring which I bought last week at church,” he said.

Was it a coincidence or a miracle?

Wonder Chimbekeya (36) experienced a miracle two days after he bought his miracle ring. He said he had a long time fued with his elder brother who resides in the United Kingdom but all that ended soon after he acquired the ring.

“My brother Philemon bought me a 2000 square meter stand in Masasa Park. I could not believe it when he phoned me trying to settle our disputes two weeks ago,” said Chimbekeya.

“He told me to collect the papers of the house from my mother in Greendale and up to now I still cannot believe that I now own a stand in such a place. My family is currently renting in Warren Park D but that will end soon,” he said.

VS Security Chief Executive Officer, Lovemore Muzavazi (40), said after buying the miracle ring, he instantly got a new contract that will see the company receiving $200 000 per month.

Before that, his monthly contracts usually ranged between $US50 000 and $US100 000.

Pamela Gusinyu (23), a university student, told the congregation of how she received $US2 500 for her tuition from her father who had stopped paying for her education. The testimonies kept coming.

However, there is a catch.

Huni later explained that the rings and one’s faith do not guarantee success. One must desist from sin, especially while wearing them, if there are to work.

“There are some people who are saying they have lost their rings or their rings are broken, it is mainly because they have committed sins or used n’anga products.

“During the launch of the rings, Prophet Miracle Paul actually warned us that if we didn’t live a righteous life, the rings would not work.

“On that day, he read from Romans Chapter 8 verse 8 to 10 and preached, urging people to live the Godly way and desist from behaviours that please the flesh.

New Revelation Ministries spokesperson, Apostle Frank Tanyayiwa weighed in and said that the miracle ring is useless if the owner is doing anti-Christ things while wearing it.

Apostle Tanyanyiwa added that the rings are being sold for $5 and they can only be worn after being prayed for.

“We understand that some people may be skeptical about the rings as they are used to wristbands and anointed oil but God’s hands work despite the medium used,” he said.

“The miracle rings are a unique medium which differentiate us from other churches. However, we also have T-shirts that can be worn by people who are feeling sick as they carry a healing power.

“New Revelations Church also has anointed oil and water which serves the purposes of deliverance, healing and breakthrough, depending on the situation.”

He said so far, several people have testified how God has changed their lives through the miracle rings.

New Revelations Ministries is an international church that is headquartered in South Africa. The church, which was founded by Prophet Abel Mutumwa in 1986, has several branches in Ghana, Tanzania and Namibia.

In Zimbabwe, the church has 39 zones countrywide. The Warren Park zone that is being led by Prophet Miracle Paul is the latest.
