NUMBERS seven and 70 have special meaning in the Bible.
God created the heavens and earth in six days and rested on the seventh day. God had completed his task by the seventh day. From this God established the week, which is completed on Saturday and is a rest day.
In Daniel 9 v 24 we have the following:
Seventy weeks are determined for your people and your holy city,
To finish the transgression, To make an end to sins, To make reconciliation for inequity, To bring everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the most holy.
This prophesy from Daniel is about restoring Jerusalem until the Messiah returns in a period of seventy!
In Matthew 18:22, Jesus tells Peter to forgive not just seven times, but seventy times seven. So seven and seventy have the Biblical meaning of perfect completion. God is letting us know that things have come to completion, they are coming to an end and 70 is His picture of perfect completion.
The Israelites spent 70 years in captivity, away from God’s holy city in Jerusalem.
This coming 70th Jubilee may be this year or could be 40 years from now or 70 years from now or any space in between that.
We are pretty safe to know that we are the end of the end times. I am not going to mess around with whether it is an extra 30 or 40 years but I know this, there is something significant happening and we can see it, if not the numbers or in the numbers or in the numerics of the Bible, we can see it happening in the world today.
This coming 70th Jubilee year will very likely have very special meaning to mankind. It could be God’s time of perfect completion for redemption. My command to the churches is – be prepared! Be right with God.
During a Jubilee year, a nation that honours and obeys God will be blessed. However, a nation that rejects God and His laws will face God’s judgment. You see, God is gracious and He offers you a jubilee. He offers you and holds forth a season where you can adjust yourself before God and allow Him to be adjusted in the psyche and the structure of a nation.
When nations respond to God and when they ardently and fervently repent from the way that they are going, God begins to intervene and He saves the nation. When nations do not call upon God, they do not allow Him to intervene. lt is this cycle, in this season usually, that the destruction of that nation happens.
God has spoken to me that we must continue with our labour of winning souls, and in the meantime there will be an outbreak of light in the darkness as He begins to breathe life onto the consecrated lives of His saints and their works that are dedicated to His glory. As you consecrate your life and as you dedicate your work to His glory, He is going to shed light on you like you have never seen before.
There will be revival fire, there will be blessings that we have not experienced before. Some of you have never experienced it, some of us have tasted it, some of us have been in revival before but it is about to happen again.
He has laid a banquet for the mighty and the nobles, many of those who were wealthy, many of those who heard the gospel, especially in this nation, but have not taken advantage of His preparations. He is declaring that now is the time to go into the highways and by-ways and call all those who have been previously left out of the invitation lists to come and join – for the marriage supper of the Lamb is prepared.
These will be very dark days for the world, and as the birth pangs of a woman grow stronger just before birth, so shall the calamities and sufferings in earth grow stronger and more severe. Even for some present who have held on to desires for deliverance and for their breakthrough –the head of the baby is now in the birth canal, now is not the time to give up, but it is the time to press on even harder to the calling and the fulfilment of the words and promises of God.
You must also watch Israel. Israel will play a very predominant role in everything that is happening prophetically. I believe that this year or at least in this season, you will see a Psalm 83 war take place in Israel.
