PRECIOUS Kwanayi of Chikanga, Mutare, could not believe her luck when she received a phone call from Fivet informing her that she had won a motorbike.
When she entered the competition after applying for a Fivet Champions Card, Kwanayi did not have the slightest hope of winning.
“I could not believe my luck,” said Kwanayi, who is employed as a security guard at a private firm in Mutare.
“As a single mum, this could not have come at a better time. I will learn how to ride the motorbike and hope to use it in my formal work and personal projects.
“I have been buying Fivet chickens and stockfeed for three years now and one cannot go wrong with their products.”
The Fivet Champions Card affords holders discounts on products.
It was introduced in March as a way of rewarding customers for purchases.
The company believes in keeping its customers up to date with the latest animal rearing methods and best practices in animal production.
Fivet director Mr Batsi Nyamugama said: “The card is inclusive. Anyone can apply for the card and we urge people who are involved in animal production to get their Fivet card.
“It will keep them up to date on animal production techniques as well as give them discounts on our products.
“Fivet is passionate about partnering its customers to help them achieve optimum results with their livestock.
“We offer a wide range of services to our customers including technical advice from a team of competent experts which comprises animal scientists, nutritionists and veterinarians.
“Fivet has world-class laboratory facilities from which we can carry out various tests ranging from water analysis, microbiology, serology and nutritional tests.”
According to Mr Nyamugama, the Fivet Champions Card makes it easier for the company to connect with its customers.
Since the Fivet Champions Card, there have been numerous winners in the Fivet fun cardholder draws.
Nine cardholders — one from each branch countrywide — have won $3 000 each while four lucky cardholders won a portable karaoke speaker and microphone each.
