Star FM has a new a new program on Schools Sport hosted by DJ Moxinator during his show, The Cross Over (TXO) on Tuesdays and Fridays. The program is known as the TXO Schools Sport and it features updates on results and fixtures of action happening in schools across the country.

There is also a slot for the ‘Star of the week’ for an outstanding player in any sporting discipline on the program which is aired after the 2pm news. Honorable Minister of Sport and Recreation Makhosini Hlongwane featured on the first edition of the program a fortnight ago and spoke on the importance of schools sport to Zimbabwe’s sporting future.

DJ Mox said the program aims to promote schools sport and unearth new talent in the country.

“We are looking at untapped talent within the primary schools, high schools all the way tertiary institutions,” he said.

“The TXO being a youthful show, we saw it as a perfect platform to take it up and play a role in promoting schools sport in the country,” said DJ Mox.
