NEW: What cannot be lost or stolen?

The Sunday Mail

Driving in one leafy suburb in Harare, I noticed state-of-the-art security systems that included high walls, razor wire, motion sensors, among other high-tech security equipment.

It just got me thinking of the things that cannot be stolen.

I realised that you have something that cannot be stolen that forms the basis of the success story that you are or ought to be.

All your material possessions can be replaced, no matter how many times they are lost or stolen.

You can find a form of insurance that can replace your stolen or destroyed property.

You can work again to amass even more wealth than the last time.

However, what remains when all is stolen or lost is your vision.

What inspires or motivates one to achieve is their vision.

Crumbled empires can be built in better shape, size and form if the initial vision subsists.

Don’t despair when things don’t go your way.

There is wisdom in accepting your loss and learning to build from it.

For every fall, rise twice as much and be a better person.

What cannot be stolen should give you the drive to soldier on.

Let it be part of your history, not your destiny, that you were robbed.

It is safe to have it as a story of your life that your empire once crumbled.

There is nothing wrong in missing having a setback in life.

You may not even know what hit you and everything goes wrong.

Allow the world to pity you but don’t ever feel pity for yourself.

Your story is better told to inspire other people when you live to tell how you nurtured your vision in the face of huge losses.

From the same story, there should be different meanings depending on who is telling the story. When it’s your turn, let it be a reference point that there are some things that cannot be stolen and it is those that form the foundations of a good life.

The famous battles in the history of mankind compare to insurmountable tasks.

It does not have to be, but if it does happen to you, don’t take it to heart.

Everything has a meaning in life, including theft. Thieves test your ability to generate the same capacity, and better.

Thieves prove to you and society that you are not a chancer.

You may need to build an empire then see it crumble to the ground for you to build a better one so as to confirm your ability.

You are a liability to yourself if all that you see around you is all that you can ever be.

Who should worry about spilt water when it can still be sourced again?

If you have a vision, you don’t bump into success but stand tall and weather all kinds of misfortunes. If you focus on that which can be stolen, your dreams will be shattered.

Should it happen that your hard-earned possessions slip through your hands, then you have only one way out.

The only way to live a happy life is to focus on that which cannot be stolen, which becomes a source of hope.

The fact that another person has taken away from you should not change your focus in life.

The fear of loss is one of the explanations that society clings on to old possessions.

Growth will forever be alien to you if you feel what you have should always be.

You cannot take risks in life if you don’t trust yourself that you can lose it all and still be a better person.

Love life and live each day with renewed energy. Your vision is your best insurance policy against any form of loss.

Live your life by leveraging on what cannot be stolen.
