ZIMDANCEHALL artiste Smartex has released his much-anticipated song featuring the late Soul Jah Love.
The song is titled “Ndozvandiri.”
Born Smart Tendai Mapfumo, the chanter said by the time Soul Jah Love died in February last year, they were about to release the song.
Since then, it has been awaiting release by DKT Studios, which is owned by music producer Dallas Mazorodze.
In an interview with The Sunday Mail Online, Smartex said his relationship with the late Soul Jah Love was very good.
He said the song “Ndozvandiri” encourages people to accept who they are.
“In our song, we tried to encourage everyone to accept who they are or the situations they face and to work very hard regardless,” he said.
The former Mafia 19 artiste – who is now working under the management Mr Jomula Chitomborwizi (popularly known as Boss Jomula) – intends to dominate Zimdancehall.
“I am now working under the new management of Jomula Chitomborwizi.
“We are pushing very hard so that I can rediscover my form and once again nail my name on the Zimdancehall top charts.”
