BOTSWANA President Mokgweetsi Masisi is expected to officially open the 112th edition of the Zimbabwe Agriculture Show in Harare on Friday, Cabinet has confirmed.
This year’s show is running under the theme: “Unequalled Business Opportunities: Accessibility-Accountability-Abundance”.
Addressing Tuesday’s post-Cabinet briefing, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said:
“The President of the Republic of Botswana, His Excellency Dr E.M. Masisi will officially open the Show on Friday, 2nd September 2022.
“The nation is further informed that some of the major events will include the Annual National Agribusiness Conference on 31st August 2022 under the theme, ‘Fostering Economic Growth Through Agriculture Value Chains’, with the Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care, Honourable Dr C.D.G.N. Chiwenga delivering the keynote address.”
Minister Mutsvangwa said a Mining and Agriculture Breakfast Interface will be held on September 1, under the theme ‘Anchoring Sustainable Economic Growth on Mining and Agriculture.’
