RISING dancehall artiste Jah Noz on Wednesday won the best dancehall song promoting devolution.

The online competition for Creative Arts was run by Zimbabwe Devolution Campaign via their Facebook page.

In a statement announcing the winners, the organisers of the completion said:

“The Zimbabwe Devolution Campaign wishes to announce the winners of the Creative Arts (music) competition. The first position was occupied by Jah Noz, second position Donald Tsveta and third position Young Kay C. We thank everyone who supported these youths in pushing the devolution agenda forward.”

The Zimbabwe Devolution Campaign is being coordinated by Residents Associations to build citizens’ awareness on devolution, which is the Second Republic’s signature development programme.

Also known as Extra Bad, Jah Noz is a protégé of the late liberation war hero, Soul Jah Love.

Popular songs from the artiste include “True Love”, “Jerusalema Ngungundengu”, “Nditakure” and “Dead Already”, which features Uncle Epatan.
