THE Harare Basketball Association (HBA) has released the final fixtures of the opening round of the Super Six basketball league.

UZ Sparks and Bunnies have been the top-performing female sides of the new format and currently stand as the only unbeaten sides of their division going into this weekend’s fixtures.

But that could change soon.

Log leaders UZ Sparks entertain Harare City Hornets, while Bunnies come up against JBC at the City Sports Centre on Saturday.

Sparks and Bunnies are then expected to clash during the weekend of December 3 and 4, in what could shape the direction of the women’s division.

At the other end of the log, Vixens and Greenstars will be hoping to turn their season around this weekend when the two sides clash at the City Sports Centre on Saturday.

Reigning champions Vixens and Greenstars are yet to pick up a win this season.

The two sides currently anchor the women’s log standings with three points apiece.

After their clash, Vixens have a date against Harare City Hornets, while Greenstars entertain JBC during the weekend of December 3 and 4.

In the men’s division, JBC will be hoping to consolidate their perfect start to the season when they clash with Harare City Hornets on Saturday.

After that, the men’s log leaders have a date against reigning champions, Foxes.

Second-placed UZ Stars will square against the Bucs, after which they have a date against Leopards Academy.
