Life can be very consuming sometimes.

There is a time when you feel like you are being pulled in every direction, which forces you to neglect your personal goals in the process.

So many responsibilities will be on your shoulders.

But, do not despair.

You are not the only one in such a predicament.

Just remember you will win; it might not be immediately but it is definite.

The need for determination to achieve life goals cannot be overemphasised.

Many times people lose heart on their road to success.

Probably this is because they do not know how others got to the top.

It is only the end result that they admire.

Following a success story throughout will help you soldier on when the going gets tough.

Success is sweet but comes after sweat.

Big entities that you admire today came as a result of hard work.

However, most of us choose to ignore the toiling part and only focus on the results.

This is what is called “iceberg illusion”.

Iceberg illusion is when we get mesmerised by someone’s above-the-surface success and do not factor in all the below-the-surface opportunity costs they paid to achieve that success.

The “Iceberg Theory of Success” helps us to realise that every successful person had to invest a lot of effort and work until their goals were achieved.

If you do not know the background of a successful person, you might think they were born rich or they got a lucky opportunity.

However, as you take time to research you will eventually get enlightened.

Those that make it in life also have sad tales to tell.

In most instances, only a handful of their followers will be willing to go through similar experiences.

If you choose the success route, be ready to put your all into the mission and never give up.

That is your only guarantee of success and a happy ending.

You should always ask yourself if you want to be comfortable or you want to grow.

You cannot do both!

Consistency, energy and determination are key aspects on the route to success.

Perfect your skills and be eager to know how much more you can do better.

I am really proud of people that are keen and determined to succeed.

Proverbs 27:17 reads, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens the face of his neighbour.”

Do not lose heart: Winners do not quit.

Quote of the week: Consistency, energy and determination are key aspects on the route to success.
