THE environment that I serve in, Mbare has taught me that it is not about the place one lives but it is about the mindset. People who live in this area (Mbare) most of them are self employed, vendors who live on buying and selling different goods, but we have managed to carry projects that are worthy thousands of dollars.

We are seeing the hand of God; we have turned our place here into Borrowdale. It reminds me of the story of Daniel and his three friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. When they were thrown in the furnace they did not say God send us fire extinguishers, they did not say God douse the fire, nor did they request a miracle but they went into the fire with God. God is the everlasting fire.

It was not the place that was changed but it was the place changer that went into the fire.

That is what we need as Zimbabweans. There are reports of protests around the country; our people should know that it is not all that that can fix our problems. We must only have a positive mindset.

I once read that one of the two richest people who control about 90 percent of the economy in the world are Jews and we have more so many Jews around the world who are rich.

In my research and study I realised that Jews do not engage themselves in demonstrations and riotous protests if they want to fix a problem. This is because they have a positive mindset and they believe in God.

And I am saying today our nation and our church needs people with a positive mind set. We need people who are likened to Ezekiel who at one point prophesied over dry bones and they lived.

I still believe that with our Zimbabwean leadership things can be normal again what we need is to have a positive mindset.
