STAR FM Gospel Greats stalwarts Heartfelt Worship Team continue to rock the airwaves with songs from their 17-track album, “Glory No Walls”.
The 85-member worship team said it was excited after the song “Jesu Arikutonga” jumped from number 13 to five on the Star FM Gospel Greats chart last week.
Star FM Gospel Greats is a weekly gospel chart show hosted every Sunday from 6-8 pm by Napstar.
Heartfelt music director Pastor Samson Kingsan Nhubu said, “’Glory No Walls’ is one of our best projects and we are pleased with the airplay on Star FM and other radio stations.”
“‘Jesu Arikutonga’ is already in the top five of the Star FM Gospel Greats after entering the show around February, and as a team we are more than excited. It’s so encouraging to hear our song being played alongside the gurus of gospel music, we will fight to maintain this standard and improve,” Pr Nhubu said.
He paid tribute to the spiritual guidance of church leader Apostle Tavonga and Pr Chipo Vutabwashe.
“I don’t think we were going to be this far without their guidance. They spiritually and physically direct the operations of the group and we are grateful,” said Pr Nhubu.
“The song ‘Jesu Arikutonga’ was penned by one of our team member Ronal Ngulube. He is not the only one, there are many who wrote songs as well.”
He also thanked Star FM listeners for voting for the song all these months.
Heartfelt Worship Team started as a praise and worship unit of Heartfelt Ministries International, founded by Apostle and Pr Vutabwashe five years ago.
