The Sunday Mail
Rutendo Chantelle Muzivani Form 3, Howard High School
Zimbabwe, Agenda for Sustainable, Socio, Economic Transformation
Why are you still waiting?
ZimAsset is beckoning to all and sundry.
Get a ride on the ZimAsset train
and give education the boost it so badly needs.
Creating a system of education
that accommodates every child
Crippled or able bodied
Rich or poor, black or white,
A system that brings education to life,
That relates to the child and
makes learning fun and enjoyable
As the nursery rhymes of my developing childhood.
He is ZimAsset
The Mbuya Nehanda and Sekuru Kaguvi
Of the 21st century
Here to save from economic crisis
And bring back the Zimbabwe promised in 1980.
A Zimbabwe with high level of
quality education and employment.
Giving a poverty stricken father a job
to send his children to school and feed the family.
A giant sent to stab around all the stumbling blocks in one’s way.
Inclusive and quality education is our heritage.
Which saved us from that bondage.
We never expected to receive such a package
Because our lives were out of mailage.
Eating cabbages instead of sausages.
Suddenly it transformed a cabin into a cottage.
Surely it is our soul and heritage.
This is my friend I trust the most
My very own personal savior
He is Zim-Asset
