Some parents would look at what they call “reputable schools”, depending on the beliefs of the parents.

Reputable in the sense that it would give them the upper class that they want. Some people would look at the best in terms of pass rate rating. But why would you expect a student who had 4-5 units in grade seven not to get at least a C grade at ‘O’ level?
Don’t you think some school would get 100% pass rate because they had taken the cream? When ZIMSEC says 100% pass rate they mean at least C or better. For a parent who had a child with 4 units at grade 7 would he/she say their child have passed when they get five C’s?

Academic success is incredibly important to us at George Emmanuel College High School. We do not measure success through extra curriculum activities alone but we put as much emphasis on what our pupils become and what they achieve.
