Child Dedication
When I was dedicated it was different from the usual method of child dedication. Normally, the pastor holds the child in his arms and pray, I was dedicated almost like Isaac who was laid at the altar Genesis 22:9.

The pastor prophesied that multitudes would gather at my feet to hear the word of God and be saved and healed.

Today, God is fulfilling that prophecy, multitudes are gathering to hear me preach and they are receiving their healing, deliverance and salvation. Praise be to God Almighty for His faithfulness.

The love and support

I was born dead at a hospital then known as Mutare Medical Centre whilst my parents lived at Number 6 Murambi drive in Mutare.

I managed to crawl as children with normal physical ability do and also sat and walked just as every child does in the growth stage.

I am so happy and grateful that my family accepted me as God had created me. There was no special treatment or differentiation amongst us as children. We would go together for holidays and travel together as a family, sharing the love as a family and playing games together.

When we played football I would be helped to stand and be given support. I remember my parents bought me a tricycle. I loved it so much because when others could do track race I could not run so when it came, I joined the track race and would cycle ahead of them.

When I could not eat on my own, bath myself and change my clothes, I expected my family to do it for me and at times I would give them trouble because I did not love food.

I believe I was lazy to eat, but through the support of Mrs Muzanamombe who was my physical therapist, she told my family that they should not do things for me, and that’s when I started to encourage myself to do things for myself.

I am a living testimony that giving birth to a child who is physically disabled is not a curse from God and some parents even divorce and some reject the child saying of what importance will that child be. Some as I speak are in prison because they killed a physically disabled child.

Giving birth to a child who is physically challenged does not mean that the child is useless and can never do anything in life.

It’s just the body that has challenges but the mind is as clear as everyone’s and the understanding is sharp.
