The Sunday Mail
Rutendo Mahara
Roosevelt Girls High; Form 4
People see, people hear,
Eyes watch far and near.
They stare and glare,
And watch with wonder.
They also compare and contrast,
With harsh and bad words
That sound like lightning and thunder.
People feel, people run
People hide what they have done,
Then they watch others to feel better.
They spread the word they heard like an open letter,
And hurt people on the way.
They watch again to make it OK.
Always know that people watch,
For good or bad,
To make it better or sad.
Do what is good when no one is there
Because you might be unaware
That everyone is watching.
