‘Eve’ was not a woman! Sunday Mail

The Sunday Mail

“EVE” is an English word in reference to a scriptural female.
It is “Ava” in Latin, “Eua/Heua” in Greek (Strong’s Concordance #G-2096), “Chavvah” in Hebrew (Strong’s Concordance #H-2332) and possibly “Kheva”’ in ancient Egypt.
In Hebrew, the word Chavvah is derived from “Havah” (HVH, #H-1934), which means existence. “Chavvah” is spelt “Chet-Vav-Hey” (ChVH) and derived from the word “chai/hai” (life or living), which means a Life Principle or “mother of all life”.
The toast “l´chaim” among Hebrews, means “to life”, and is frequently used in celebratory ceremonies.
Chavvah is derived from chava, meaning “to live, breathe, respire” in respect of an “animal” or “living thing”.
It can be noticed that ChVH (Chet-Vav-Hey) is derived from HVH, the last three letters of the Tetragrammaton of the Divine consisting of two related principles or qualities – masculine/paternal and feminine/maternal. This shows that Eve is a female projection of YHVH.
Symbolically, YHVH is the collective of the four elements of nature: Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Earth, Water and Air represent masculine qualities while Fire stands for femininity.
YHVH (whose full words are Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey), the Tetragrammaton of the Divine, is then read as “Yod-Chavah” or “Y-HAVAH”.
Yod-Chavah (“Y-HAVAH”)is broken down as follows: Yod (the willpower in the pineal gland of the brain) is in relationship with Chavvah (the feminine power and the breath of life). Yod/Yad/Yud is the initial minute mark of every Hebrew letter.
“It is thus the ‘generating point’ from which all the other letters proceed, each letter being in some way or other a reproduction of the Yod; and accordingly, it has not inaptly been regarded as a symbol of the All-originating First Principle. Since every letter arises from Yod, it therefore implies “self-containedness.” (Thomas Trowar, “Bible Mystery and Bible Meaning”)
Yod comes from the Hebrew word for a hand (Yad). It is masculine, active and representative of the father. It was portrayed in ancient Hebraic times as a symbol of an entire hand in a closed state, euphemism for a male reproductive element. In esoteric Judaism, Yod is the Germ, the Life, the Cause, the One and the most fundamental of the phallic emblems and from this we have obelisks.
Yod is also a symbol of both action and personal possession.
“The fundamental idea is that the Yod signifies his action. A similar idea is seen in the etymology of the English words such as manual and manipulate, which are based on the Latin word for Hand, Manus
“In Genesis 1:26 there is plurality of divinities not acknowledged by Christian authorities, “Elohim said: Let us make adam (humanity) in our image.”
This is related to Elohim whose correct translation is “Divinities” as an indication that at the creation of life, masculine and feminine energies were involved then and now.
Last week, we discovered that the term “Adam” evolved into a reference for three succeeding planes: universal primordial humanity, universal masculine energy of the human progenitor, and an adopted name of a human male.
“Eve” is, therefore, a reference to universal feminine energy and an adopted name of a human female.
At the biological plane, Adam is the reference to the collective of all human beings and the whole physical body (whether its male or female). This is represented as, “And Elohim said, Let us make adam (humanity)” (1:26) and so “Elohim created adam (humanity); … male and female created he them.” (1:27)
At this level, the full human body is a microcosmic representation of the universe consisting of dead matter, plant, animal and human lives.
At the physics plane, Adam is the masculine energy of the human progenitor. Symbolically, among those who are mystical, this was identified with the human brain. This would then represent one’s masculine, physical strength and will power.
At the symbolic plane, earlier we observed Chavvah as the breath of life, wisdom and feminine power. Symbolically, Chavvah (“Eve” in English) was to further represent the sexual passion (femininity),which moves along the spinal column whose shape is that of a serpent.
When the spinal cord is dissected out of the vertebral column, along with the brain cone and it resembles a serpent (Wadjet in ancient Egypt). (zleauber.blogspot.com)
NB: The brain is connected to the 33 vertebrae of the spinal column or cavity and the related vital functions, to constitute the central nervous system. The spinal cord transmits sensory messages to the brain and receives motor signals from the brain down its tracts to produce changes in muscles and glands (effectors). The sensory nerve tracts of the spinal cord represent Receptive (Feminine) functions while motor nerve tracts down the spinal cord are equivalent to Expressive (Masculine) functions.
In general, the Feminine Principle represents the desire in us that is stimulated through feelings (scripturally represented by the serpent) not through the intellect.
If handled immaturely, sexual passions intoxicateus to a point of self-destruction. Sexual energy, potency or power in an unreasonable and undiscerning person of poor judgement is a hellfire within or it makes person a beastly subject to the frailties of the flesh.
Senseless and reckless sensuality is a fire that burns its own host and also “the fire…will shine on them with a perishable beauty, and it will imprison them in a dark sweetness and captivate them with fragrant pleasure.” — (“The Book of Thomas the Contender”)
