. . . as Pst Chris heads to Zimbabwe
ZONAL leader of CHRIST Embassy, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa could not hide her joy as she confirmed during a midweek prayer service that their leader, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will be coming to Zimbabwe on May 7.
In the service last Wednesday, Pst Musarurwa said she could not explain how she felt when she received the phone call confirming that indeed the popular Television host and leader of Believers Loveworld Incorporated and Christ Embassy was on his way to Harare.
“I was only telling the pastors about this but the news ended up all over the globe. The pastor is coming on May 7.
“I cannot explain how I felt when I received the call in my office confirming that the pastor will be with us. I screamed. It will be a global miracle, communion service. So many healings are going to take place. People are going to believe that Jesus Christ is alive,” Pst Musarurwa said.
In addition, Pst Musarurwa said for a long time she had been labouring and praying for the fulfilment of the coming of the popular Nigerian pastor.
Encouraging members to unite in preparation for the day, Pst Musarurwa added that every member of the church ought to take part in the preparations and hosting of the day.
The coming of Pastor Chris who has been in service for more than 30 years will be a fulfilment of a word spoken by the pastor directed to Zimbabwe on the Night of Bliss on January 22 at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Pst Chris declared that Zimbabwe was a special country and a miracle. This raised hopes that he was heading for Zimbabwe, one of the countries he had never been to despite commanding a huge following.
Further, the coming of the delegation consisting his brother, Reverend Ken Oyakhilome, pastors Tuoyo Edun, Biodun Lawal and Siji Dara who attended a meeting dubbed ‘8 Days of Glory’ last year raised expectations that the Nigerian was on his way.
Their arrival in April last year was believed to be aimed at laying the groundwork for Pst Chris’ coming.
Within the teaching ministry he hosts healing crusades like the Higher Life Conference and Night of Bliss which are held in various cities and nations across the world.
