ABOUT 130 pastors and laymen under the Kadoma Pastors Fraternity have successfully completed an Advanced Leadership Certificate course that was conducted by two United States-based Christian-faith organisations.
The programme was run by Larry Mcfadden Ministries Inc and Wayne Dorsett Ministries and was being coordinated by a Bulawayo-based Christian organization, Hope Ministries Zimbabwe.
It drew participants from various Christian-faith organisations in and around Kadoma, Chegutu, Sanyati, Zvishavane and Mhondoro.
In an interview on the sidelines of the conference, Hope Ministries Zimbabwe Kadoma coordinator, Pastor Elias Mabhechu said the course would equip the pastors with the latest skills that are being used worldwide to further Christian ministries.
“The course will equip pastors and laymen with the latest skills so as to reach many lost souls to bring them back to God,”said Pastor Mabhechu.
The ministries also donated 18 bicycles to pastors for use in their respective communities.
“I urge you to use the bicycles to reach out to the lost souls and bring them back to the Lord,” Larry Mcfadden said.
The Kadoma Pastors Fraternity chairperson, Pr Itai Melusi hailed the programme and said it was an eye opener. Pastor Asiyatu Saidi of New Birth International Ministries, one of the bicycles’ recipients, expressed his gratitude.
“The bicycle has come at the right time, I will use it to go around Kadoma to further the ministry and bring back the lost souls to God!” he said.
Hope Ministry Zimbabwe is a Bulawayo-based Christian faith organisation that was founded by Pastor Jabulani Mudenda in the year 2000.
