A host of church conferences are set for August as the period dubbed “the spiritual month” takes shape. Already Zion Christian Church’s mega conference, known for drawing tens of thousands from across the country, comes to an end today at the group’s headquarters in Bikita.Also ending their conference at Ralton SPorts Club today is New Life Pentecostal Church led by Apostle Benjamin MUrata

Tabernacle of Worship Family Ministries International, whose conference started last Thursday, hosts gospel musicians Matthias Mhere and Takesure Zamar.

The conference which ends tomorrow runs under the theme “Glorious Manifestation in My Generation”.

On the same day, Bishop Bartholomew Manjoro’s Faith World Ministries starts its week-long Faith Heights Conference at the Cathedral of Faith in Harare. It will be the first conference following the passing on of Bishop Manjoro’s wife, Dr Clara Manjoro.

Just next door at the City Sports Centre, the guitar man Jonathan Rubain, and Hiram Koopman, the man who makes the saxophone speak, are expected to mesmerise at the Bishop Tudor Bismark-led New Life Covenant Church Conference.

The conference begins on Thursday and runs under the theme “Power Shift”.

United Family International Church look set to cap the month in style with their Judgement Night 4 dubbed “The Sentence”.

This time, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s ministry will be at Mt Hampden rather than the traditional home of Judgement Night at Harare’s National Sports Stadium.

The conference will be held on August 26.

Bishop Stephen Mangwanya’s New United Apostolic Church will be at Nerutanga Growth Point in Buhera, for a three day conference which commences on August 19. In Karimazondo, the leader of Revival Church of Christ International, Bishop Marvellous Mhloyi, will from August 25 host a four-day conference with attendees from Chipinge, Mashonaland Central and other areas expected. Smarting from hosting Dr Creflo Dollar, APOstle TAvonga VUtabwashe’s Heartfelt International MInistries  will host the annual Catch The Fire COnference  from August 29-September 4.
