Life Issues with FGK
A world can never be a better place without women.
Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, it is important for us to always remember that women play a very vital role in human progress and have a significant place in society.
They are not inferior to men and can equally measure up to any task presented to them. Being a woman means the ability to able to be powerful and assertive, yet kind at the same time.
Compassion, however, should not lead to weakness. Challenges may be encountered in life but being a woman means one should strive and succeed.
As women, we should never underestimate the power that we have.
In every woman is the power to build and strengthen relations or any other thing.
Yes, we all come from different backgrounds.
Some come from rich families while others had to struggle to get whatever they have in life, but the bottom line is we are all women and still share the same qualities.
Your background should never be an excuse for you not to achieve more in life.
For those that come from disadvantaged backgrounds, it is imperative to understand that you cannot change your past but there is something you can do about the present and the future.
Gone are the days when women used to play second fiddle. Women are now fully empowered and have equal access to education, and job opportunities among other things.
This is a positive development considering women have multiple roles in society. An empowered woman means an empowered nation.
As a daughter, a woman is traditionally responsible for taking care of her parents. As a wife, she is expected to serve her husband, preparing food, clothing and other personal needs. As a mother, she has to take care of the children. At the workplace, much more is expected from her. Resultantly, I encourage fellow women to be disciplined in whatever they do since a lot is expected from us.
Those using unethical ways to sustain lavish lifestyles or to earn a living should stop forthwith.
It is not right and that is certainly setting a bad precedent for the children. We should all be exemplary and aim to create a better society.
The Proverbs 31 woman should be the role model for us.
She is creative and embraces beauty and Godliness, she spends her time on that which is good, she is a good manager of her home and she is industrious and works with willing hands.
A virtuous woman spends money wisely and is careful to purchase quality items which her family needs.
She serves others with love and kindness, takes care of her physical, mental, and spiritual health and serves God with all her heart.
