Even though I am a little older and wiser such that l don’t lose myself in shopping anymore, the child in me still believes that as the year is coming to an end, it is the season to get some new clothes.
In fact, one of my New Year resolutions is to have a closet full of stylish clothes. It is one resolution that l will ensure is fulfilled and I am sure I am not the only one on that one.

Style Corner decided to scout the city to identify the hottest fashion items that are currently trending at various shopping locations. In the next coming weeks as the festive mood continues to gather momentum, expect pointers on those items that could bring more cheer this Christmas.

Cynthia Bizure-Sithole, the director for Jan Jam, a brand name that is popular for menswear but recently opened a ladies’ department, gave a few pointers with regards to the trending fashion items.

The gold red bottoms and an original Burberry print dress were her pick.

“They are selling fast,” she said.

The items are suitable for Zimbabwe’s various weather conditions.

Hazel, a fashion enthusiast shared thoughts on her favourite item for a Christmas gift with Style Corner.

“If I was asked to choose what to add on my Christmas wish list, it would be really difficult as so many items are on point. I would love so many clothes in my wardrobe. But my ultimate favourite is the red bottoms, green and blue spikey heels,” she said with excitement.

Well, I wouldn’t mind having the red bottom shoes, a handbag, jewellery, scarf, the Burberry print dress and some designer sunglasses.
