I believe that retail therapy solves all problems and therefore you should never forget to spoil yourself. Realise the consequences of over spending later, for you only live once.

So whether the year was good or bad, we will soldier on and shop for the festive season.

After last week’s big reveal of the red bottom shoes, Burberry print dress and spikey heels, Style Corner continued the hunt for special gems and hot wardrobe items to add some glamour to your festive season shopping.
Why dress ordinarily when you can choose to dress extraordinarily this festive season?

A UK-based Zimbabwean fashion student, Melody Chimedza, has added her touch of style on fellow Zimbabwean women with a shop in the heart of Harare – Mel’s Touch.

The store stocks clothes made from all over the world, including the fashionista’s own designer label.
Style Corner observed the items in the boutique and picked some favourite trending style elements for our valuable readers.
The colour yellow
The presence of yellow in many items was obvious. A stunning event dress is the sunflower yellow “ZARA Woman” backless mini dress. Also trending is an iconic pant suit in pastel yellow, a subtle yellow that can be worn in a formal business setting.
Deep red accessories
A bold colour choice is deep red, it exudes confidence and is a good colour for Christmas parties. Mel’s Touch had in store some deep red beaded necklaces and leather handbags, to add a pop of colour.
Metallic shoes
Gold, silver and bronze should not only be left for sports medals, these are a definite must haves for pointy stilettos.
Fringed shoes
Strappy heels with tassels and fringes will make movements easy should one decide to dance the night away
