Prinston Infant and Preparatory School held their graduation and merit awards last Friday amidst pomp and funfair at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Harare.
During the day, the children had been on a school trip organized by the Paradise Aviation Services Ltd where they had a chance to board a real aircraft and had an insight of the careers offered in the aviation industry by meeting the pilots, aircraft engineers and flight attendants.rinston Infant and Preparatory School held their graduation and merit awards last Friday amidst pomp and funfair at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Harare.

The evening was closed with the graduation for ECD pupils and Prize Giving Ceremony for the Grades 1-3 students who excelled in different subjects.

Prinston is a trust school established in 2016 and situated in Seke, Unit G extension, next to Seke teachers College.

Next year the school will start offering Form 1-4.

“We do all these activities to cater for the pupils. Our teachers are experienced and qualified and they have children’s welfare at heart. We make sure that no teacher has over 20 pupils for enough individual attention on our kids,” said Mrs Chitsuwa, one of the directors of the school.

“We are comparable to none of the other schools in Chitungwiza because we operate differently. Our school is run by a board of directors (trustees) from different spheres thereby providing different expertise for the benefit of the children.

“We take pride in being the first of our kind in Chitungwiza. Our motto is ‘Proud and Confident’ and we stand as such,” she said.

Parents were full of praise for the school as well,

“I sent my child to Prinston this year and already she is fluent in English whilst her etiquette has really improved. The school is run in a professional way and the environment is really conducive to learning.

“They are not like some other sprouting private schools, they have proper classroom blocks more than 10 of them and two administration offices on a two hectare plot. So I sent my child there knowing it’s a proper environment for total learning and they have space to do sports and to play on school grounds,” said an ecstatic parent after the graduation of her ECD daughter. She vowed to send her daughter back for Grade One next year.

The school offers sports like karate, tennis and swimming with professional trainers.
