MANNY PACQUIAO has thrown down a fresh challenge to Floyd Mayweather.

The Filipino said on Thursday the American should, instead of “blabbing” and setting terms that could torpedo the fight, face him in the ring.

Pacquiao, 35, has held “world” titles in eight weight divisions and boxing fans all over the world over have been baying for a fight between him and Mayweather, who is unbeaten and holds the WBC and WBA welterweight titles.

“Pacman” is in training to defend his WBO welterweight title against another undefeated American, Chris Algieri, in Macau in November.

He said great fighters did not avoid facing the best and did not let any challenge pass by. “I’m tired of his (Mayweather’s) alibis. If he really wants to fight me, he knows how to reach me. We can fight anytime, anywhere.”

Pacquiao, who has won 56, lost five and drawn two of his professional fights, also dismissed the manner in which Mayweather’s beat Marcos Maidana in their return clash last weekend.

“To me, Maidana won that fight. Mayweather’s face and lips were swollen, compared to Maidana’s unblemished face,” he said. — Supersport
