Magaya, do you need these bouncers?

Sir 18area.coms —
IT looks like we need members of the ZRP Support Unit – Gondo Harishayi – in our game because there is a worrying increase in the number of people who believe in using violence to settle football matters.

Walter Magaya’s bouncers are said to have assaulted a man who had sought to have a selfie taken alongside the PHD leader at Alex Sports Club last Saturday.

What Magaya makes of his bouncers’ antics is open to speculation, but the incident which occurred as Yadah Stars were playing Mushowani in a friendly match does not augur well with his prophetic office.

A few weeks before the latest incident the same guys allegedly assaulted a man who had expressed reservations over the way Magaya was stop/starting his team’s training session.

That nonsense really has to stop. Why assault when you can pray for the person you are not agreeing with?

Yours Truly hopes that this message gets through to Magaya, wherever he is be it Israel, Yadah Guest House or in Nigeria visiting TB Joshua

Elsewhere (in Oscar Pambuka’s voice), one ailing manager is also accused of assaulting a legend who did not share his views.

It must be very frustrating being the manager of a player who decides to follow Peter Ndlovu’s social footsteps only and not his footballing footsteps.

Having invested a lot in the boy, you will be hoping for returns but the lad gives you nothing – not even scoring with the cougar he is staying with.

Your eyes become watery as if someone has thrown some curry into them and you seek to blame everyone – Caps United, Lloyd Chitembwe and the media – for your player’s shocking fall from grace.

The player in question was reported to have sealed a deal in Sweden but several weeks after those claims we still see him around with a legend’s ex-concubine in tow.

And when it so happened that one fine day the manager bumped into Soccer Coaches Union of Zimbabwe leader Moses “Bambo” Chunga, he sought to take a dig at Chitembwe.

“Lodza is a bum, he treated my player wrongly,” the ailing manager reportedly said, somehow thinking that Bambo would agree with the preposterous claim.

Bambo did not swallow the line.

Chunga is smarter that he looks. He pointed out that as the leader of the coaches, Chitembwe was one of his own and he would not been seen attacking him in public.

In a fit of rage, the manager is alleged to have slapped Chunga who somehow managed to maintain his cool.

Allow Yours Truly to borrow a line from General Chiwenga, who famously remarked: “Idyai sadza makanyarara.”

And after they eat in peace, they can listen to a Diana Samukange song.

Meanwhile (again in Pambuka’s voice), last Sunday we had Benard Marriot assaulting freelance journalist Tendai Ndemera at the National Sports Stadium as DeMbare got a hiding from Makepekepe.

The Dynamos board chair is better advised to concentrate on eating as much as he can – like he did at Phillip Chiyangwa’s birthday bash – and desist from acting like a hooligan.

Which serious sponsor would choose to pour money into a club whose board chair assaults journalists?

Shame on you Marriot, the slobbering manager and Magaya’s bouncers!
