THE weekend has been packed with festivities and while most people would prefer resting today, the party mode is still on for some who would rather finish the week on a high note.
Hararians are forever hungry for pleasure and for party animals, there isn’t a day they would consider a sabbatical.
Besides at the usual outdoor leisure spots that are popular on Sundays, there is no shortage of shows at various venues in and around Harare today.
Busy Signal might have thrilled at his show last night but fans have the opportunity to mingle with the Jamaican superstar tonight at the Private Lounge.
The dancehall-reggae artiste has partially extended his stay in the country.
He is not in a rush to return back home since his next stop is in Malawi on October 31.
Busy Signal is expected to properly thank his fans, meet them, greet them and perhaps even pose for pictures with a few lucky ones.

And there is no better way to do so than at the home of entertainment – Private Lounge – the club that has hosted Luciano and the Samba Girls, among other international stars.
Top DJs including Gary B, Smylie, Devante, Joe Mentro and MC Lenny Matteron will be taking turns to keep the dance floor busy throughout the night.
Located down town in Harare Street, Private Lounge is an exclusive nightclub which is popular for its beautiful exotic dancers.
On the other side of the city, Soul Jah Love will be showcasing his microphone prowess at Jongwe Corner.
The establishment was recently renovated and now boasts of a revamped security wall, shades to shelter patrons from various weather elements, more selling points for beverages and the braai area has also been extended.
Thus, the talented but misguided chanter’s show is expected to help celebrate the ongoing developments.
Soul Jah Love is currently enjoying the success of his new singles that include “Magetsi” and “Ngundu Ngundu”.
Thus he has a huge playlist at his disposal. On a good day, the musician can pull off a top notch performance.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and located in Ruwa along Harare-Mutare road lies Mtangaz Hideout which is playing host to a family show that features talented sons of fallen legends.
The family show’s line-up includes Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo, Faheem Somanje and Suluman “Sulu” Chimbetu. Young Igwe has been in top form with a new album that has been received well by music lovers. Armed with his top drawer stage works, his set is guaranteed to be explosive.
Although Faheem is yet to find solid footing in the industry after being left in charge of Pengaudzoke following his father’s passing, he has not been disappointing on stage.

At the same time, Sulu is one of the most consistent performers in the music industry and family shows are nothing new to him as he has featured on many of them.
Mtangaz Hideout has been quiet of late but the leisure spot is on a comeback path, recently hosting big artistes such as sungura ace Alick Macheso. At some point, the joint was the talk of town. It was the place to be, especially on Sundays.
Many people prefer this particular venue due to its location as it is tucked away from the urban noises.
Stepping away from music, art lovers are also in for a treat as Wingate Park Golf Club will be holding its annual Art Exhibition from 9am finishing at 3pm. A great variety of exhibitions from well-known and up-and-coming Zimbabwean artists will also be on sale.
