“Despite the distance that separate Zimbabwe and China, our hearts are linked together,” she said.

The Chinese First Lady arrived in the country this morning accompanying her husband, President Xi Jinping on a historic two-day state visit that is expected to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

The couple is accompanied by a delegation of Chinese government officials and private sector players keen on unlocking business opportunities in the country.

As the two Heads of State visited the Heroes’ Acre, the First Ladies took time off their tight schedules to mix and mingle with the 90 children at the children’s home.
