THE spotlight will fall on Terrence Dzvukamanja’s Orlando Pirates when the Nedbank Cup continues Saturday with five round of 32 clashes across South Africa.
Orlando Pirates have crashed out of the Nedbank Cup at the round of 32 stage in the last two consecutive seasons and will be out to break the jinx when they take on First Division side Uthongathi at Orlando Stadium at 3pm.
The clash is one of five matches lined up for Saturday with Knox Mutizwa’s Golden Arrows squaring up against Butholezwe Ncube’s Amazulu at 5pm.
Former CAPS United star defender Ronald Pfumbidzai is expected to play for Bloemfontein Celtic against Cape Town City, also at 5pm.
The Nedbank Cup round of 32 kicked off Wednesday with holders Mamelodi Sundowns beating Stellenbosch 3-2 after extra time while Polokwane cruised past Steenberg.
Kaitano Tembo’s Supersport United crashed out on Thursday after suffering a 1-0 defeat against TTM.
Former Warriors striker Evans Rusike came close on numerous occasions for United, whose coach Tembo admitted it was not their day.
