WOE unto you, haters who were about to write my obituary!
Sir is back, loaded with a bag full of bones to chew into.

I know there are many who were threatening to go into the streets and protest against my disappearance from these famed pages.

I can hear them ululating and chanting my name.

Thank you, thank you, for the applause but we have little time for foreplay.

Let’s get on with the act please, it’s been long.

Can you smell the miasma that is coming out of Zifa?

I know they say you cannot kick a man when he is down and if the truth is to be told, one Phillip Chyangwa is down and having to fight battles on several fronts.

The issue that is playing out at the courts is matrimonial and having met PC’s erstwhile other half at one point, it’s only respectful that I stay clear of that matter.

Stay clear of it on these pages only because I am praying fervently for the Chiyangwas to find each other, kiss and make up.

In my month long sabbatical, during which I managed to negotiate a new and improved contract, I got my hands on the Zifa’s 2017 financial report.

I was flabbergasted beyond measure!

How did we end up in a situation whereby Zifa moved into Chiyangwa’s Harare offices?

Is it true that Chiyangwa earned $72 000 from renting out his offices to the soccer governing body?

Is this ethical, good people?

Can a broke association such as Zifa afford to pay $6 000 a month to rent offices when there is 53 Livingstone Avenue, that can be spruced up and house the association?

Who signed the lease agreement which stipulates that the rental fees are to be paid in advance at the start of every year and will be upped bi-annually?

And this dubious agreement expires in September 2021?

Whilst we are in the mood of asking questions, whose company was awarded the contract to renovate the Zifa village and got $50 000 for doing the not so impressive job?

In whose name is the vehicle that was supposedly given to Kallisto Pasuwa by that other Sir registered in?

I will not be digging much into these matters as a Zifa Annual General Meeting is coming in two weeks.

These and other matters are set to be discussed, with no punches being pulled, during that Indaba.

The Zifa Assembly will also decide on a motion to have the Electoral Committee get to work as soon as it is established and not wait for it to clock six months in office before getting down to business.

That motion by the Central Region has really shaken the establishment with PC reportedly trying to mend relations with the councilors that engineered his ascendancy to the top job in 2015.

Take it from me, there are some councilors who believe Chiyangwa has been captured — not by the Guptas — but by a clique of “old and tired administrators who are misleading him.”

Zifa is stinking to high heavens and owe the nation some serious answers.

Their move to create a side show of announcing that they intend to audit the Premier Soccer League and all other affiliates may fool some people but not the clever ones like yours truly.

How do you rush to audit affiliates when your house is not in order?

Meanwhile, it appears some individuals are out to settle some personal scores with Chiyangwa.

We know these people.

In 2015 they shouted that PC did not qualify to run for Zifa presidency until a trip to those offices along Enterprise Road.

And now that they have fallen out with PC they are back to their old hymn and expect us to sing along with them.

Dude, why did you stop singing in 2015?

When that has been answered we can add our voices to your song but until then, carry your cross and fight your own battles — on Facebook and Whatsapp groups!
