Veg dal masala roasted potato wedges

THIS roasted potato recipe with veg dal masala is a flavourful and satisfying dish that can be enjoyed by all. Veg dal masala is a great spice.

Ingredients

One-and-a-half kilogramme potatoes, washed and peeled;

One tablespoon veg dal masala spice;

Three tablespoons oil;

One-and-a-half teaspoon salt;

One tablespoon finely grated garlic;

One tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

  1. Get your ingredients together. Cut the potatoes into wedges. You do so by first cutting each potato into half, vertically, then each half into half again. Put the potatoes in a bowl.
  2. Drizzle the oil onto the potato wedges in the bowl. Toss them about, ensuring each wedge is evenly coated.
  3. Add salt, lemon juice and veg dal masala.

Toss again one more time to evenly coat the potatoes.

  1. Put the potatoes onto your baking sheet or oven tray. Roast at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
