There is always a solution

The Sunday Mail

The average person experiences challenging times, and seek solutions to those problems.

While the poor face problems such as hunger, there are common stressors even for those who can afford the basics.

Problems and diseases of the affluent are also on the increase.

At the end of the day, everyone is fighting their own battle.

The nature and type of problems differ, but the world is not a perfect place.

While I was speaking to a friend who had a long and winding story about the problems they were facing, it dawned on me that there is always a way out.

Life depends on how one chooses to face their challenges.

The option you take determines whether your problem will be solved or get worse.

As I listened to the colleague’s story, I noticed that she had the solution to her problems.

Sometimes people get too engrossed and entangled by their problems.

One may even miss the simple solutions in front of them.

Do not accommodate your problems and magnify them.

Life is about finding best practices, not common practices.

In line hard times will come.

Where you end up depends on the choices you make

There is always a solution to your problem, do not make your problem worse by dwelling on it.

Put yourself in the shoes of the third person, so that you can properly analyse every situation.

It is important to make a correct and objective assessment of your situation.

As a rule of thumb, seek out the help of a true friend when you are overwhelmed.

That friend should be able to show you the best way out of your problems.

Sometimes just a dark cloud over your head can make you feel like it is the end of the road.

No matter how stuck you feel, another person would prefer to have your problems over theirs.

Do not reach your wit’s end when faced with a bad situation.

People who have gone through worse will see your problem from a different perspective.

Believe that you can always be a better person.

Seek out the opinions of others.

Try and distance yourself from your problems so that you can make an independent judgement.

Alternatively, talk to someone. They may give you sensible solutions you may not be seeing.

Dwelling on your problems may result in you missing the turning point in your situation.

There is no point in dying a thousand times before your death.

More often than not your solution is closer and simpler than you think.

It is possible that your situation may not be as bad as you think; or you may not even be facing a real problem.

Sometimes a re-arrangement is the solution you need.

It is good to have a clear mind.

You can quickly figure things with a clear mind.

A third eye perspective can help you find your way.

Do not seek for solutions when you are entangled in your problems.

Have time to reflect so that you get a fresh perspective.

It may be that your situation is truly bad, but the last thing you need is clouded judgement.

Always face each day with an open mind and an open heart.

Learn to solider on.

If you can afford to remain calm, even the worst of situations will not affect you the same if your mind was all over the place.

Between the highs and the lows, it is important to ensure that things do not get out of hand and threaten your future.

Blaming yourself or anyone else is one of the easiest ways of distancing yourself from your solution.

Time and resources should not be wasted on pointing fingers.

Always walk into any situation with a clear mind free; you may be surprised by how quickly you find your solution.
