There goes Dynamos again Sunday Mail

Sir: 18area.coms
DYNAMOS are behaving like a whore once again, lighting up their eyes at the sight of a man who appears to have the better bank account.

What is Sir going on about this special Sunday?

Well DeMbare, or the club’s board, appear ready to dump Kenias Mubaiwa like a used you know what in favour of one Solomon Sanyamandwe.

And that to me is very unfair!

But first things first, let’s observe some protocol; let’s go through the pre-match rituals.

Greetings in the name of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judea – Jah Rastafarai.

It’s a blessed Sunday brethren. I can feel it in my blood.

The Warriors take on Zambia in the Cosafa Castle Cup final and Yours Truly has no doubt that he will leave the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace strutting like a king after another Warriors victory, another Ovidy Karuru goal and another George Chigova clean sheet.

Sunday “Mhofu” Chidzambwa has shown that he is not a boring old man after all – his Warriors have been full value for money.

Victory is certain against Chipolopolo!

Later in the evening my heart will be with Caps United as they seek to get into the Caf Champions League quarterfinals with victory away to USM Alger of Algeria.

I am not one of those who wave vegetables at the stadium while singing “Kepekepe Bhora”, but for today it’s treasonous not to be supporting Caps United.

It’s not longer about the Green Machine; it’s now about that beautiful flag of ours which also has green on it.

However, today I do not wish to talk about the Warriors or Caps United.

I do not even want to talk about Omega Sibanda, the Zifa vice-president who believes this column took a dig at him last week.

The guy is seeing shadows and one day he will have his Sir treatment. He is really craving for it, isn’t he?

I want to talk about Dynamos, DeMbare, Chazunguza and if you are a social media person like me, #mabhinya.

The Glamour Boys are enjoying a purple patch but it’s not all rosy in the boardroom as Mubaiwa is increasingly being sidelined in favour of his deputy Sanyamandwe.

The talk at DeMbare these days is “Mubaiwa apera” (Mubaiwa is broke) and it’s not just the players who are saying it.

The man who bailed the club out on several occasions and delivered four titles on the bounce is now being viewed as a hindrance to success by some board members.

There are suggestions that he gets the boot and there are no prizes for guessing the man, or woman, this cartel wants to replace Mubaiwa with.

Sanyamandwe is increasingly becoming influential at Dynamos, doling out greenbacks each time the team is in a fix. Which is often.

I haven’t had the chance to gauge the Dynamos deputy president’s IQ but from a distance he comes across as smart enough.

Only time will tell if Sanyamandwe is smart enough to know that this club is a master of using and dumping people – administrators, players and supporters.

At one time Mubaiwa was the darling of those old men and before that that there was Farai Munetsi.

Both men used their personal funds to keep things moving at the club but instead of gratitude they got brickbats and accusations of wanting to take over the club.

Good luck to Sanyamandwe. Good luck to Caps United. Good luck to the Warriors.

Sir exits the scene!
