The Pivotal Effect

The Sunday Mail

Miss Zvikomborero Elizabeth Manyowa —
Being the pivotal point means you are meant to sustain a lot of pressure.  The burden is centred on you as to effectively relieve both ends.  If you are not strong enough, the next obvious thing is breakage.  With all the knowledge I have, breakage is not an option.  Miss Zvikomborero Elizabeth Manyowa is the name.

I am woman with a vision, a lady on a mission.  If one is chosen as the pivotal point, they cannot complain because it is their obligation to bear the heavy load and sustain the weight without failure.  One devastating fact is that there is no problem if they are intact and both ends are broken, but a slight crack on the pivot can cause terror.  In this life people are afraid of being the pivot for several reasons.  Many find it irrelevant to their lives when they have to bear other peoples burdens, some do not want to uphold others as the pivot does but rather they want to be held up high themselves.

Some are afraid of reaching their breaking point whilst others are afraid of facing challenges, nonetheless little do they know that the fear of the unknown is a major drawback in life.  One’s life is defined by purpose therefore, which purpose do you desire to serve?  Will you be remembered more for what you did, how you helped others to keep going, the very same purpose the pivot has.  Are you ever willing to sacrifice your personal desires so as to bring joy to other people?

You want to be very prosperous, can you compare this to being a push factor in people’s lives, and what do you need more than the glory you will have.  Weigh them, the wants and the needs and see which are more important.  You will discover that on your want list are things you can still do without but on your med list are things you will never live without.  The same applies to relationships you will want to have.  Your pressure when you are needed the most is of more value than being there a thousand times when you are not. Go around, gather all the facts that you may need, and then ask yourself what your purpose in life should be?  Can you be a pivot yourself?

As the head girl of George Emmanuel College who is willing to be a pivot to my fellow brothers and sisters at school, I for all am going to do my level best.  To be innovative and resourceful with what we already have thereby valuing peer to peer interactions as their dynamic leader.
