Popular Nigerian preacher, Prophet TB Joshua declared a new dawn for Zimbabwe during Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministries’ Night of Turnaround 4 prayer meeting in Harare last Friday.
TB Joshua, who is the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) with an estimated number of 15 000 congregants every week, spoke from Tanzania where he was meeting the country’s new president, Dr John Magufuli.
After TB Joshua’s initial call had cut off, PHD’s leader prophet Walter Magaya revealed that he had intended to surprise the thousands of people in attendance at the all-night vigil; among them members of parliament, foreign delegates and other dignitaries. When the call came through minutes later, TB Joshua wished Magaya a happy birthday before asking the worshippers to kneel down.
“It is a new dawn to your nation. It is a new dawn to everyone that is under the influence of my voice. It is a new dawn to your ministry. It is a new dawn to your leader, it is a new dawn to Zimbabwe as a nation.
“Everyone that is under the influence of my voice right now, it is a new dawn to your business, it is a new dawn to your career, it is a new dawn to your land in Jesus name,” TB Joshua declared.
He went on to lead the multitudes in declaring that, “It’s a new dawn for my career, it’s a new dawn to our leader, it’s a new dawn to my land.” Thereafter, the Nigerian prophet led the worshippers in song before summing up with a prayer.
In 2014, Magaya revealed that his gift of prophecy and deliverance grew phenomenally after he visited TB Joshua.
He said he initially consulted TB Joshua on business projects and was blessed with anointing water.
Only last week, Magaya visited Nigeria to seek counsel on ministry issues from TB Joshua. The initial Night of Turnaround was held in Chitungwiza.
The second edition was at Raylton Sports Club while the third and fourth have been held at the church’s premises in Waterfalls.
Superstar Oliver Mtukudzi, South African gospel musician Pastor Benjamin Dube, Pastor Charles Charamba and his wife Olivia, Zimpraise, Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria and Zim dancehall star Shinsoman provided polished performances.
