Companies, organisations and individuals need to contribute to assist less privileged members of society as they are made more vulnerable by the current challenging economic environment, a local businessman has said.
Guest of honour at the 5th Anniversary of the Commander Airforce of Zimbabwe (AFZ) Charity Horse Race and Air Day yesterday, Mr Exodus Makumbe said although the prevailing economic environment is challenging, there was need to mobilise “whatever little” resources are available to assist. Commendable progress had been made in rural communities through the AFZ Charity Fund, he said.
