Stars Studio back for Xmas

The Sunday Mail

Andrew Moyo —
AROUND year 2010, Stars Studio was probably the best exclusive nightspot in Harare. All that is history as the club last operated in 2012. This festive season, however, the Stars Studio comes back alive with 2 Kings Entertainment reopening the joint.

2 Kings’ co-founder Dee Nosh was resident DJ at the club during its prime, with his combination with L-Roy making a significant contribution to its success. The club is only opening for the festive season.

Artistes and DJs who will be on rotation include DJ Storm, Judgement Yard, DJ Rax, Dolla Bill, Killa Kelly, Juice and L-Roy among others. Dates to watch out for are November 24 to 26 when a host of activities have been lined up with top DJs and artistes set to ignite the festive season.

To cater for every taste, Thursday nights have been set aside for Afro-fusion, Friday is mixed while Saturday nights are for the hardcode party animals. With 2 Kings being one of the most active entertainment companies in the country it comes as no surprise that they are moving onto the club scene.

Dee Nosh has extensive experience when it comes to club entertainment but it remains to be seen if he being a DJ in a club translates into successfully running a club.

“We are now entering the festive season and as you know very well, people will be on the lookout for entertaining nightspots so as to quench their celebratory thirst,” said Dee Nosh.

“This used to be the go-to club in Harare during its prime and so we have decided to resurrect it and bring back that vibe which used to attract many people to the joint.”

He said an array of events had been lined up.

“We have a lot lined up from live shows to DJ sets so people should just be geared up for a fun filled festive season.”
