AT least five members of the band of popular Nigerian gospel musician Osinachi Kalu aka Sinach’s have arrived in Zimbabwe ahead of the singer’s concert at Glamis Arena, Harare tomorrow. The team arrived a few hours after Sinach’s husband and Christ Embassy’s Pastor Joe Egbu touched down at Harare International Airport.
Speaking shortly after their arrival, band leader Casey Jolomi Edema said Sinach would arrive at around 11pm tonight.
“Sinach is currently in Uganda where she has a commitment. She is performing at a Christ Embassy Church there but we are expecting her here at 11pm,” Casey said.
He added that Sinach would be accompanied by the remaining band members.
Sinach will headline a star-studded gospel concert featuring ZimPraise, Call to Worship, Heartfelt Choir, Michael Mahendere and the United Family International Church Choir.
Concert organiser Tinashe Mutamaenda urged people to buy tickets in advance to avoid a last-minute rush.
“Tickets are still selling at selected points and people should try and buy them in advance,” he said.
He said organisers would provide point of sale machines at the venue for those who wanted to pay using plastic money.
