All Black winger Julian Savea scored a hat-trick of tries to demonise England and help his side ensure a clean sweep of the series with a clinical 36-13 win in Hamilton yesterday. Savea, who has now scored 23 Test tries for New Zealand, took his chances and could have had a fourth had it not been disallowed for a forward pass, making him a player who will give England nightmares ahead of next year’s Rugby World Cup.

The big winger has now scored eight tries against England in Tests and underlined his finishing class with the hat-trick to give the three-Test series 3-0 to the home side.

Scrum-half Aaron Smith scored twice on a night where England were set to challenge the All Blacks, but fell way too short after a first half blitz that they could never recover from.

The win also saw Steve Hansen’s side equal the World Record for tier one nations, with their 17th consecutive win, drawing level with Nick Mallett’s all-conquering Bok side in 1998/ 9. — SuperSport.
